Job Summary – Field Marketing Officer Vacancy in Nairobi

The Field Marketing Officer will spearhead localized sales and marketing campaigns to grow M-KOPA’s electric motorbike business. You will operate at the intersection of customer engagement, direct sales, and brand representation, helping customers understand and access sustainable mobility options.

Responsibilities – What the Field Marketing Officer Will Do

• Drive lead generation and product awareness through field visits, local events, and community outreach initiatives.
• Act as a brand ambassador for M-KOPA’s electric mobility products, conducting customer demos and building trust at the grassroots level.
• Convert prospects into loyal customers by understanding their needs and presenting flexible purchasing solutions.
• Build referral networks and maintain strong relationships with key community influencers and partners.
• Capture and report market intelligence, including competitor analysis, customer preferences, and emerging trends.
• Collaborate with the central team to refine campaigns, enhance the customer journey, and hit monthly sales targets.

Requirements – Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales or marketing, preferably in a fast-paced consumer-facing environment.
• Previous experience in the automotive or mobility sector is an added advantage.
• Proficiency with mobile sales apps, Excel, and customer management tools.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and convert leads effectively.
• Proactive, self-driven, and enthusiastic about fieldwork and engaging with diverse communities.

Work Location and Reporting

This is an on-site role based in Nairobi, Kenya. The Field Marketing Officer will report directly to the Sales Operations Manager and work closely with cross-functional teams across Kenya, the UK, Europe, and other African markets.
