About Our Client

BlumeAfrica is recruiting a Grants and Learning Associate on behalf of our client, a Kenya-based feminist and community-focused nonprofit organisation working across gender justice, climate justice, holistic health, culture and community action.

Our client works alongside communities to advance rights, strengthen community agency and support locally driven solutions. The organisation has longstanding experience providing funding and organisational support to grassroots organisations, CBOs, CSOs, unregistered groups and individuals.

As its grantmaking portfolio grows, the organisation is strengthening its approach to trust-based, participatory and locally led grantmaking and is looking for someone who can combine effective grants coordination with strong relationship-building, convening and learning.

About the Role

The Grants and Learning Associate will coordinate a portfolio of approximately 30 grantee partners, with grants averaging around £10,000 per grantee and an annual portfolio of approximately £360,000.
