The Heinrich Böll Stiftung (hbs) Nairobi office is offering internship placements that provide East African students and recent graduates an opportunity to apply their academic knowledge to real-world projects and gain valuable experience.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • – Current undergraduate students in their final year or postgraduate (Master’s/PhD) students
  • – Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • – Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • – Prior experience in research and fieldwork (preferred)
  • – Academic background aligning with hbs’ thematic focus areas and program work

Internship Details:

  • – Full-time engagement for 3 months (possibility of 3-month extension based on performance)
  • – Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
  • – Modest monthly stipend provided
  • – Interns are responsible for their transport and accommodation (if required)
