Job Description

The Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor (Laundry) will oversee all laundry operations to ensure high standards of hygiene, efficiency, and guest satisfaction. The role requires a hands-on professional with an eye for detail and the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team. This position plays a key role in supporting the overall cleanliness of the property by ensuring guest linens, uniforms, and other fabrics are processed to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the laundry department, ensuring timely and efficient processing of linens, uniforms, and guest garments.

• Inspect laundered items for cleanliness, stains, and damage, and ensure proper finishing and folding techniques are applied.

• Work closely with the housekeeping and front office teams to align laundry output with guest and operational needs.
• Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, scheduling, and performance reviews.

Required Qualifications

• Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Housekeeping, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in a hospitality laundry or housekeeping role.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a similar setting.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of laundry equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with hygiene and sanitation regulations applicable to hospitality establishments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a luxury or international hotel environment.
• Training in health and safety compliance specific to laundry operations.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills for engaging with cross-functional teams.
