HR Business & Reporting Analyst Jobs in Kenya

The HR Business & Reporting Analyst will serve as the analytical engine behind the execution of the Bank’s HR strategy by translating workforce data into meaningful business insights. The successful candidate will support HR planning, budgeting, forecasting, board reporting, predictive analytics, and AI-enabled reporting while collaborating with HR Business Partners, Finance, and leadership teams.

The role focuses on improving workforce decision-making through data analytics, business intelligence, reporting automation, and continuous process improvement. Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze workforce metrics, headcount trends, recruitment performance, employee turnover, and retention to generate actionable business insights.

  • Design, automate, and enhance HR reporting using Power BI, Excel VBA, Smartsheet, and AI-enabled analytics tools.
  • Build integrated HR dashboards by consolidating data from HRIS, payroll, and workforce management systems.
  • Develop predictive attrition models, retention risk scoring, productivity analysis, and workforce capability reports.
  • Apply statistical analysis and predictive analytics to improve workforce planning and talent pipeline management.
  • Maintain high standards of HR data quality, governance, accuracy, and reporting consistency.
  • Monitor HR budgets, analyze operational expenditure, identify cost drivers, and recommend efficiency improvements.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities across the HR function.
  • Coordinate the annual HR business planning process with HR, Finance, and business stakeholders.
  • Prepare executive reports, board papers, presentations, and strategic workforce analytics for senior leadership.
  • Support AI-enabled automation and process optimization initiatives across HR operations.
  • Monitor HR compliance, audit findings, risk controls, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain standardized reporting processes, documentation, and administrative controls.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align HR analytics with organizational objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement by leveraging emerging technologies to enhance HR decision-making and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in data analytics, reporting, budgeting, or project management, preferably within Human Resources or People Analytics.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, workforce reporting, and data interpretation.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, and VBA), and AI-enabled analytics tools.
  • Experience working with HRIS, payroll systems, workforce databases, and business intelligence platforms.
