Human Resources Intern Position Overview
As a Human Resources Intern at Synnefa, you’ll work directly with the CEO to support all departments in managing HR matters. This position offers an exceptional opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.
Salary
KES 20,000 – 25,000 per month
Key Responsibilities
Talent Management
- – Drive recruitment strategies and support end-to-end hiring processes
- – Conduct background checks and reference verifications
- – Implement innovative talent retention programs
- – Assist in employee onboarding and orientation
Culture & Engagement
- – Organize team-building initiatives promoting collaboration and diversity
- – Manage employee surveys and recognition programs
- – Support conflict resolution and employee relations
HR Operations
- – Assist in policy development and compliance management
- – Maintain accurate employee records
- – Process payroll and handle benefits administration
- – Coordinate performance review processes
- – Support learning and development initiatives
Requirements
- – Recent graduate with a degree/diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- – IHRM membership or current enrollment (added advantage)
- – Strong proficiency in HR software and MS Office Suite
- – Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- – Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion
