About Save the Children

Save the Children is one of the world’s most established independent organizations dedicated to improving the lives of children through education, healthcare, protection, and humanitarian response. Operating in more than 100 countries, the organization leads transformative programs that empower communities and protect vulnerable children in times of crisis and stability.

Save the Children has been operational in Kenya since the 1950s, delivering a wide range of programs across child protection, health, nutrition, livelihoods, WASH, child rights governance, and humanitarian response. In 2012, Save the Children unified the operations of Save the Children UK, Canada, and Finland into a single entity in Kenya.
