CD Sales Intern Position Overview
Colgate-Palmolive is hiring a CD Sales Intern in Kenya. Key Responsibilities of the Colgate-Palmolive Sales Intern
Sales Strategy and Execution
- – Assist in developing and executing sales strategies to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth
- – Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and market trends
- – Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, supply chain, and finance to ensure seamless coordination of sales initiatives
Customer Engagement
- – Participate in customer visits and sales meetings to gain insights into customer needs and preferences
- – Provide excellent customer service and support, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- – Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Operational Support
- – Support the sales team with daily administrative tasks, including data entry, report generation, and order processing
- – Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales performance metrics
- – Apply analytical thinking to solve problems and identify opportunities for improvement
Qualifications and Requirements
Education and Experience
- – Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- – Prior internship experience in sales or marketing is advantageous but not required
Skills and Attributes
- – Strong passion for sales and marketing with a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic industry
- – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- – Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
