Junior Cooperative Advisor- Kenya

Agriterra is a cooperative development agency founded and governed by farmers’ organisations from The Netherlands, to strengthen the capacity of farmers’ organisations in the Global South.

Our mission is to strengthen organised farmers given the importance of effectively organised farmers to improve the resilience of rural households and drive the structural transformation of economies inclusive of rural communities.

Key responsibilities

• Support project implementation with selected cooperatives in conducting advisory work, such as preparing and implementing scoping.cooperative assessments, and assisting in developing action plans.
• Prepare and manage contractsbetween targeted cooperatives and Agriterra Implementation and Follow-Up
• Support execution of action plans and follow-up activities.
• Develop performance objectives and coachingwork plans with target organisations in collaboration with the Lead Cooperative Advisor.
• Assist the Project Lead with planning,monitoring, reporting, and evaluation of interventions.
• Prepare timely monthly and end-of-mission reports.
