Job Description
As a Legal Specialist in Nairobi, you will work closely with the Senior Legal Counsel to ensure that CTG’s multinational operations remain compliant with all legal and regulatory frameworks. You will play a key role in reviewing contracts, supporting governance, and ensuring risk is minimized across departments.

Key Responsibilities
Legal Compliance & Research
- Conduct in-depth research on corporate, labor, and data protection laws in CTG’s operational countries
- Support entity registration and ensure compliance with local and international legal frameworks
- Monitor legal developments and maintain a centralized compliance tracking system
Contract Drafting & Negotiation
- Draft, review, and finalize commercial contracts including NDAs, MoUs, and employment agreements
- Assist in client negotiations, identifying legal risks and offering strategic advice
- Review RFPs, tenders, and procurement documents to assess contractual obligations
Corporate Governance & Risk Management
- Support legal matters involving intellectual property, data privacy, and compliance documentation
- Track lease renewals, vendor contracts, and regulatory deadlines
- Liaise with external counsel to manage legal disputes or escalations
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with internal teams in HR, Finance, and Operations to address legal needs
- Ensure legal documents are stored and managed in a secure, organized system
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, preferably with a focus on Company or Corporate Law
- 3–5 years of demonstrable experience in corporate/commercial law
- Proven track record of supporting legal functions in multinational or high-risk organizations
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Solicitor/Bar (or international equivalent)
- Legal experience in conflict-affected or complex jurisdictions
- Working proficiency in Arabic is an asset
- Strong research and analytical skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal documentation tools
