Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Manager, Risk and Compliance. Key Responsibilities
Risk and Compliance Strategy
- Develop and implement the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework and compliance programs that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation process across all departments and stakeholder relationships, including regulators, partners, customers, suppliers, and the public.
Ethical Conduct & Organizational Culture
- Promote the Authority’s Code of Ethical Conduct and develop initiatives that embed an ethical and transparent culture across all organizational levels.
- Provide risk resilience assurance to the Board while ensuring all operations are aligned with organizational values and risk appetite.
Policy Management & Compliance Oversight
- Oversee the full policy management cycle, including the development, review, and repository of policies for various departments.
- Ensure compliance with all external regulations and internal policies while providing actionable compliance insights to leadership.
Training, Capacity Building, and Reporting
- Deliver training programs to enhance risk management awareness and build internal capacity across operational teams.
- Oversee the development and regular update of the organizational risk profile and ensure timely and accurate risk reporting.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Master’s degree in a business-related field is required.
- Professional certification in Risk and Compliance Management is mandatory (e.g., PRMIA, GARP, IARCP, ICPAK, IIA, IRM).
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in risk management and compliance within a regulated, dynamic environment, with at least 3 years at a managerial or supervisory level.
- Proven track record in implementing and managing ethics frameworks and codes of conduct.
- Completion of a management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution.

Terms of Service
This position is offered on permanent and pensionable terms. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team that is committed to maintaining operational excellence across Kenya’s airport network.

- Police Clearance Certificate (DCI)
- HELB Compliance Certificate
- KRA Tax Compliance Certificate
- EACC Clearance Certificate
- CRB Report
The EACC self-declaration form should clearly indicate the job title being applied for.
