Internship Overview:

Nestlé is seeking motivated and talented Nutrition Graduate Interns to join their innovative team in the East and South African Region. This internship program is designed to provide hands-on experience in the food and beverage industry, with a focus on nutrition and marketing. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to contribute to Nestlé’s mission of enhancing quality of life and contributing to a healthier future.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in developing and implementing nutrition-focused marketing strategies

2. Conduct market research and analyze consumer trends in nutrition and health

3. Support the creation of nutrition-related content for various marketing channels

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate nutritional aspects into product development

5. Participate in community nutrition education initiatives

6. Assist in monitoring and reporting on nutritional aspects of Nestlé products

7. Contribute to the development of nutrition-focused promotional materials

8. Support the team in organizing nutrition-related events and campaigns

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (BCom) with a focus on Marketing/Sales

2. Minimum academic result of 65%

3. Strong interest and background in nutrition science

4. Excellent reporting and communication skills

5. Robust organizational and planning abilities

6. Proficiency in numeracy and analytical skills

7. Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

8. Proficient in MS Office Packages

9. Self-motivated and service-oriented mindset

10. Willingness to work flexible hours

11. High level of tenacity, self-discipline, and results-focus

12. Ability to thrive in multi-disciplinary teams and fast-paced environments
