Competitive Remuneration Package

  • Basic Salary: Kes.56,080 x 2,880 – 58,960 x 2,890 – 61,850 x 3,760 – 65,610 x 3,750 – 69,360 x 3,755 – 73,115 x 3,745 -76,860 x 4,260 – 81,120 x 4,255 – 85,375 per annum
  • House Allowance: Kes 24,000 monthly
  • Commuter Allowance: Kes 8,000 monthly

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • – Six (6) years’ cumulative work experience, three (3) years of which should have been at the grade of Office Assistant II or comparable position in the public or private sector
  • – KCSE mean grade D (plain) or its equivalent from a recognized institution
  • – Proficiency in computer applications
  • – Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
  • – Meet the provisions of Chapter Six of Constitution

Core Responsibilities

The Office Assistant will be responsible for:

Hospitality and Office Management

  • – Facilitating hospitality for members of staff, staff meetings and high-level stakeholders’ meetings
  • – Ensuring orderly arrangement of office equipment and furniture
  • – Dispatching letters and documents efficiently
  • – Preparing meeting venues professionally and in a timely manner

Administrative Support

  • – Keeping detailed inventory of kitchen equipment
  • – Performing various office duties as assigned
  • – Carrying out messengerial duties as required

The Office Assistant I will provide essential office and administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the Authority. Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, dispatch, and distribute mail and official documents within and outside the Authority.
