Job Description

As a Partner Operations Lead, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the operational performance of Glovo’s partners in Kenya. This position focuses on optimizing key operational metrics such as preparation times, cancellation rates, courier waiting times, and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will work to improve the partner experience, foster partner growth, and ensure an exceptional user journey across all touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and optimize the operational performance of top-tier partners, identifying bottlenecks and implementing actionable improvement plans.
  • Support the long tail of smaller partners to enhance their operational effectiveness through tools, training, and process improvements.
  • Enhance partner satisfaction by collaborating with customer service teams to ensure continuous support and resolution of partner concerns.
  • Oversee the smooth onboarding of new partners in collaboration with content operations teams, ensuring readiness from day one.
  • Act as a voice for local partners by identifying user experience challenges and raising feature enhancement requests to regional and HQ teams.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration projects and foster knowledge sharing across departments.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in high-paced environments such as tech startups, consulting, investment banking, or top internet companies.
  • Strong data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from analytics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, capable of managing diverse stakeholders.
  • Proactive, ownership mindset with a hands-on approach to tasks.
  • Experience managing teams (3+ people) and leading operational improvement projects.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in partner management, marketplace operations, or e-commerce platforms.
  • Strong adaptability and resilience in fast-changing environments.
  • Previous exposure to tech-driven business models and multi-stakeholder management.
