Position Overview
HFC is currently seeking an experienced Project Development Manager to oversee major development projects valued at KES 5+ billion. This key leadership role will drive project success through strategic planning, execution, and stakeholder management.
Strategic Responsibilities
Project Leadership
- – Spearhead comprehensive project planning and implementation
- – Direct multi-million shilling development initiatives
- – Ensure regulatory compliance across all project phases
- – Manage stakeholder relationships and expectations
- – Drive project completion within established parameters
Strategic Planning & Execution
- – Develop detailed project roadmaps and implementation strategies
- – Create and monitor project budgets and resource allocation
- – Implement risk management and mitigation strategies
- – Establish project milestones and success metrics
- – Oversee quality control measures
Team Management
- – Lead and mentor project teams
- – Foster collaborative work environments
- – Facilitate effective team communication
- – Provide professional development opportunities
- – Resolve team conflicts and challenges
Stakeholder Engagement
- – Build and maintain strategic partnerships
- – Manage client relationships and expectations
- – Coordinate with regulatory bodies
- – Oversee contractor and supplier relationships

Required Qualifications
Education
- – Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields:
- – Building and Construction
- – Civil Engineering
- – Architecture
- – Quantity Surveying
- – Real Estate Management
- – Land Economics
- – Business-related field
- – Mandatory Project Management certification:
- – PMP (Project Management Professional) or- PRINCE2 certification
Experience
- – Minimum 5 years in project management
- – 3+ years in leadership positions
- – Proven track record managing KES 5 billion+ projects within the last 3 years
- – Demonstrated success in real estate development
