Job Description
As a Sales Executive, you will be the face of Glovo in Mombasa, responsible for identifying new business opportunities, signing up local stores, and fostering long-term partnerships. This role is key to ensuring that both smaller local businesses and larger brands are successfully integrated into the Glovo platform, ultimately enhancing the overall user experience.
The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, as well as a passion for technology-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure partnerships with top local stores and corporate clients in Mombasa.
- Ensure all deals meet the required profitability targets and align with company goals.
- Facilitate smooth onboarding processes for new partners, ensuring they have the tools and support needed for success.
- Maintain and update your sales pipeline daily, providing accurate tracking and reporting.
- Conduct regular field visits for prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across departments to drive continuous improvement and partner satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B Sales or related fields.
- Fluency in English and the local language of Mombasa.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar platforms.
- Strong learning agility, resilience, and a “make it happen” mindset.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in tech startups, e-commerce, or digital platforms is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of the Mombasa market and strong local business networks.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
