Job Description
The Sales Manager – Corporate Sector will be accountable for driving product growth, meeting corporate sales targets, and leading a team of sales professionals. The role involves strategizing for business expansion, overseeing the operationalization of new products, and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of sales strategies to meet or exceed corporate sales targets
- Coordinate and support the sales team across regions and key accounts
- Oversee operational implementation of financial products in the corporate segment
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients and partners
- Track sales performance and prepare periodic progress reports for senior management
- Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with product development teams
- Ensure the sales team is aligned with the company’s goals and service standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or any related field from a recognized university
Required Experience
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in sales management, preferably in the financial services sector
- At least two (2) years’ experience in team leadership or management
- Proven experience in microfinance institutions, banks, or insurance companies
- Call centre management experience is an added advantage
- Experience working in digital lending in Kenya or similar fintech environments
