Job Description:

Jumia is hiring a Java Developer to be part of an agile team developing e-commerce, smart logistics, and payment solutions. This role will work on integrating a service-oriented architecture using the latest technologies and software development practices. The Java Developer will own their services end-to-end and ensure high code quality through code reviews.

Requirements:

• – Minimum 3 years of experience
• – Experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• – Proficient in Java development (ideally Spring Boot framework)
• – Skilled in building testable code, unit tests, and integration tests
• – Knowledge of software design and architecture patterns
• – Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
• – Fluency in English
