Shift Supervisor

MAN Energy Solutions is hiring a Shift Supervisor to oversee power plant operations and ensure smooth, compliant performance during each shift. Join a global leader in engineering solutions for marine, energy and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• – Overall supervision of plant activities to ensure trouble-free operations
• – Receive power off-taker notifications, coordinate responses with managers
• – Maintain accurate logbook of shift activities and report events of concern
• – Assist in scheduling operations team and revising production plans as needed
• – Maintain plant availability per power purchase agreement requirements
• – Correspond with dispatch control center on load instructions
• – Supervise shift team during start-up prep, operations and plant performance reporting
• – Investigate and document causes of any operational non-conformances
• – Coordinate and monitor maintenance activities during shifts
• – Implement operation plans and instructions from management
• – Ensure work areas comply with EHS policies and approved procedures
• – Prepare daily/monthly/annual operations reports as required

Requirements:

• – Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• – 5 years of experience in power plant operations with team lead role
• – Computer/ERP systems proficiency
• – Willingness for site placement under MAN PrimeServ O&M contracts
• – Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
• – Strong coordination, organization and communication abilities
• – Good interpersonal, presentation and cross-cultural skills
