Position Overview: Supervisor – IT Assets Management

The Supervisor – IT Assets Management will report directly to the Assistant Manager, Asset Management. The role is critical in ensuring that all desktop equipment, accessories, and IT assets are well-configured, maintained, and tracked using KRA’s asset management systems.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Resolve assigned IT work orders efficiently within the stipulated timelines to support uninterrupted organizational operations.
  • Configure and deploy end-user equipment including desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Perform regular software and hardware upgrades to ensure all IT equipment meets performance standards.
  • Troubleshoot and repair network issues, resolving incidents promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Identify and record obsolete equipment on assigned floors and recommend appropriate disposal or replacement strategies.
  • Coordinate the movement of IT assets during office relocations or restructuring.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on end-user equipment to prolong asset life and prevent faults.

Requirements for the Supervisor – IT Assets Management Role

Educational Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a recognized institution.
