Job Description:

Jumia is hiring a Senior Recruiter to manage end-to-end recruitment needs for their operations in Kenya and Uganda. This role will partner with business and functional leaders to drive strategy, goals, processes, and metrics for talent acquisition. The successful candidate will develop innovative ways to meet Jumia’s expanding recruiting needs and provide a consolidated view of the international and functional talent pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

• – Manage full-cycle recruitment for Kenya and Uganda
• – Collaborate with stakeholders to determine future talent needs
• – Build hiring plans to meet increasing demands for specialized positions
• – Work closely with business leaders on all recruitment aspects
• – Lead and participate in cross-company talent-related projects and initiatives
• – Attend career fairs and other recruitment events as needed

Requirements:

• – 5+ years of experience in corporate in-house recruiting or international recruitment agencies
• – Prior experience in recruiting tech talent is a must
• – Familiarity with recruitment tools and systems
• – Organized and pragmatic approach
• – Skilled in partnering with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing strategies
• – Experience creating, measuring, and scaling workflows between candidates, hiring managers, and recruitment teams
• – Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

This role can be based in Jumia’s Nairobi office.
