Talent and Capability Manager – Role Overview
The Talent and Capability Manager is responsible for supporting the implementation of talent acquisition, succession planning, talent segmentation, job rotation, and mentorship programs. This role works closely with HR Business Partners and business leaders to align talent strategies with organizational priorities.

Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies to attract high-caliber candidates across the organization.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop competency-based job descriptions.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
- Deliver a positive candidate experience while maintaining long-term talent relationships.
- Support HR Business Partners in workforce planning by analyzing skills, competencies, and future capability needs.
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics to continuously improve talent acquisition effectiveness.
Succession Planning
- Design and implement a robust succession planning framework aligned with business strategy.
- Conduct regular talent reviews and develop action plans for high-potential employees.
- Build and maintain leadership talent pipelines for critical roles.
- Ensure readiness of successors for key leadership and specialist positions.
Talent Segmentation
- Analyze workforce and performance data to segment talent based on skills, potential, and performance.
- Develop targeted development programs for different talent segments.
- Monitor and report on the impact of talent segmentation initiatives.
Job Rotation Programs
- Design and manage job rotation initiatives to support career growth and skills development.
- Coordinate with business leaders to identify and implement rotation opportunities.
- Evaluate the impact of job rotation programs on performance, engagement, and retention.
Mentorship Programs
- Design and launch structured mentorship programs to promote learning and knowledge sharing.
- Match mentors and mentees based on career goals and development needs.
- Monitor mentorship effectiveness and provide ongoing program support.
Talent Management Initiatives
- Lead and support enterprise talent management initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.
- Stay informed on HR and talent management best practices and integrate relevant innovations.
- Collaborate with HR teams to ensure alignment with the overall HR strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (preferred).
- Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in talent management, with strong exposure to talent acquisition and succession planning.
- Proven experience implementing talent and capability development programs in a corporate environment.
