About the Warehouse Intern Role

The Warehouse Intern will report to the Senior Logistics Associate and support key warehouse operations. This includes inventory tracking, stock arrangement, dispatch coordination, and maintaining a clean and efficient warehouse environment. The intern will also learn to use modern warehouse management systems and help identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Warehouse Management

• Sort, pack, and dispatch products accurately to assigned delivery vehicles.
• Implement and maintain organized warehouse layouts and labeling systems for easy inventory access.
• Collaborate with the Warehouse Clerk to maintain optimal warehouse infrastructure.
• Monitor and track physical inventory movements to enhance delivery efficiency.
• Inspect products for expirations and ensure appropriate storage conditions are followed.
• Document all incoming and outgoing stock movements accurately.
• Perform basic quality assurance checks on inbound and outbound shipments.
• Communicate and escalate any systemic issues to operations and technical teams.

2. Inventory Record-Keeping

• Ensure all stock receipts, returns, and issuances are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
• Use inFlow, Tushop’s warehouse management software, for tracking inventory and generating reports.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with system records as scheduled.
• Investigate and help resolve inventory variances between physical stock and system data.
• Maintain a live tracker of stock movement to flag SKUs that may need spot checks.
