Internship Overview

The secondary teaching internship at Nova Pioneer provides aspiring teachers with real classroom exposure under the guidance of experienced educators. Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Learning Support

  • Plan and execute daily learning activities based on schemes of work and lesson plans.
  • Provide a variety of learning materials and resources to support exploration and creativity.
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet the diverse learning needs and interests of students.

Student Development & Well-Being

  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
  • Organize and lead activities that promote physical, mental, and social development.
  • Monitor student behavior and enforce school rules to maintain discipline and order.
  • Support students’ transition into the school environment through positive engagement.

Classroom & Activity Management

  • Prepare classrooms and learning spaces for instructional and experiential activities.
  • Supervise the safe use and care of learning equipment and materials.
  • Plan and assist with class projects, field trips, and experiential learning activities.

Assessment & Reporting

  • Observe and evaluate student progress and development.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on student performance.
