Required Qualifications – Agribusiness Banking Careers in Kenya

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, Finance, Banking, Business, or a related discipline.
• Professional banking qualification such as AKIB, ACIB, or an equivalent certification is an added advantage.
• Minimum of five to seven years’ experience in agribusiness banking, agricultural finance, relationship management, or value-chain development.
• Demonstrated experience working with commercial farmers, processors, cooperatives, aggregators, and development partners.
• Strong understanding of agricultural production systems, structured finance, commodity markets, and risk-sharing mechanisms.
• Excellent relationship management, credit analysis, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
