Job Purpose
The Alumni Liaison & Partnerships Officer will manage alumni relations and leverage alumni networks to support student mentorship, internships, job placements, and institutional partnerships. The role focuses on engagement, communication, and opportunity sourcing to strengthen BIHC’s ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Alumni Engagement & Relations
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive alumni database.
- Implement alumni engagement strategies including mentorship and career talks.
- Manage alumni communication channels such as newsletters and platforms.
Partnerships & Opportunities
- Mobilize alumni to provide internship, attachment, and job opportunities.
- Act as a link between alumni, students, and industry partners.
- Strengthen partnerships for career development and institutional growth.
Events & Networking
- Coordinate alumni events such as networking sessions and career forums.
- Support alumni recognition initiatives and engagement programs.
Reporting & Data Management
- Prepare reports on alumni engagement, success stories, and impact.
- Maintain accurate alumni records and engagement tracking systems.
Institutional Support
- Support curriculum feedback, advisory roles, and brand advocacy through alumni.
- Contribute to institutional development initiatives and partnerships.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Public Relations, Business Management, Marketing, or related field.
Work Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a higher education institution or similar environment.
- Experience in alumni relations, partnerships, or stakeholder engagement is an advantage.
- Understanding of the hospitality industry is preferred.
