About the Role

The Broadcast IT Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the technical operations of TV studio technology while gaining invaluable experience in broadcast IT systems and live production environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Studio Operations & Technical Support

• – Support daily TV studio operations and maintenance of broadcast technology
• – Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to minimize downtime
• – Provide emergency technical support during live broadcasts
• – Collaborate with studio technical supervisors on complex technical challenges

IT & Broadcast Systems

• – Deliver efficient IT helpdesk support for broadcast-related issues
• – Assist in maintaining and testing broadcast equipment
• – Support the implementation of new broadcast technologies
• – Help integrate and maintain video/audio systems
• – Participate in routine system checks and improvements

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• – Work closely with editorial and creative teams to provide technical solutions
• – Support live broadcast operations
• – Assist in media storage and archiving processes

Required Qualifications:

Education

• – Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in:
• – Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
• – Computer Science
• – Broadcast Technology
• – Related technical field

Technical Knowledge

• – Understanding of broadcast technology fundamentals
• – Familiarity with video/audio systems
• – Knowledge of file formats and compression techniques
• – Basic network administration concepts (LAN/WAN)
• – Proficiency in Windows/Linux environments
