Call Centre Monitor Job Description – Call Centre Monitor vacancy in Kenya

The Call Centre Monitor will provide accurate, timely, and professional information to members of the public and stakeholders on political parties, rallies, elections, and related processes. The role also supports the documentation and management of enquiries and independent candidate applications through the call centre system.

The successful candidate will coordinate with relevant ORPP departments to verify information, identify enquiries requiring escalation, and maintain comprehensive records. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming calls and respond professionally to enquiries about political parties, rallies, and elections.
  • Liaise with ORPP departments and staff to obtain accurate information for callers.
  • Identify and escalate urgent enquiries requiring immediate attention or specialized support.
  • Identify recurring questions and issues to support improvements in public education and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of calls and conversations in the Call Centre database.
  • Support documentation and processing of electoral-related enquiries and independent candidate applications.
  • Provide clear and consistent information while maintaining professional communication standards.
  • Handle difficult or agitated callers calmly while maintaining a positive and respectful approach.

Required Qualifications – Call Centre careers in Kenya

  • Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Communication, Law, Public Administration, Education, Political Science, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Certificate in Computer Applications.
  • Kenyan citizenship.
  • Strong analytical skills and competence in report writing.
  • Excellent verbal communication, listening, and information-retention abilities.
  • High attention to detail and strong database or records management capabilities.
