Constituency Monitor Job Description – Constituency Monitor vacancy in Kenya

The Constituency Monitor will monitor political party activities at constituency level and report findings to the County Monitor. The role supports compliance with applicable laws and promotes peaceful, lawful, and transparent electoral processes before, during, and after elections.

Key Responsibilities

• Document relevant issues arising from election petitions and other constituency-level activities.
• Sensitize political parties and candidates on applicable laws and the Code of Conduct.
• Prepare reports covering pre-election, election, and post-election political party activities.
• Maintain accurate records of monitoring activities and observations within the assigned constituency.
• Escalate significant compliance concerns to the County Monitor for appropriate action.

Required Qualifications – Political Science careers in Kenya

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Public Administration, Education, Political Science, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Certificate in Computer Applications.
• Kenyan citizenship.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess information objectively.
• Demonstrated competence in report writing and documentation.
