Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is hiring a Career Manager to support Internationally Mobile Staff (IMS) in their career development and job placements. This exciting opportunity offers a chance to make a significant impact in the humanitarian sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- – Collaborate with Pool Managers to identify personnel needs and propose suitable candidates
- – Conduct regular meetings to determine best fit for IMS and identify high potential leaders
- – Oversee briefings and debriefings for IMS
- – Discuss career management prospects and draft development plans
- – Advise on career opportunities within MSF
- – Identify relevant learning and development tools
- – Liaise with recruitment team to ensure smooth onboarding of new IMS
- – Maintain and update IMS database
Requirements:
- – Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Studies, Psychology, or related field
- – 2-3 years of experience in placement and career management
- – Fluency in English (French is a plus)
- – Excellent interviewing and networking skills
- – Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- – Ability to work independently and in a team
- – Cross-cultural awareness and strategic vision
Preferred Qualifications:
- – IHRM membership or CHRP certification
- – Field experience with MSF or other humanitarian NGOs
Benefits:
- – Open-ended, full-time contract in Nairobi, Kenya
- – Annual salary of EUR 23,296 (HQ Level 7)
- – Monthly allowances between EUR 188-295
