Credit Analyst

Gulfafrican Bank is seeking a skilled Credit Analyst to join their team. This role is responsible for conducting financial analysis, evaluating credit risk, and supporting the bank’s lending operations.

Requirements:

• – Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• – Minimum of 3 years of experience in credit analysis or a related role
• – Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• – Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
• – Knowledge of credit policies, procedures, and lending regulations
• – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• – Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Key Responsibilities:

• – Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data to assess creditworthiness
• – Evaluate loan applications and credit proposals for individuals and businesses
• – Conduct risk assessments and identify potential credit risks
• – Prepare comprehensive credit analysis reports and recommendations
• – Monitor and review existing loan portfolios for risk and compliance
• – Maintain accurate and up-to-date credit files and documentation
• – Collaborate with other departments, such as underwriting and collections, as needed
• – Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to credit analysis
