Role Overview:

Jubilee Insurance is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Customer Experience Intern to join their team at the J-HUB office in Upper Hill, Nairobi. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a leading insurance firm while contributing to creating exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees

2. Manage reception area, ensuring cleanliness and organization

3. Greet and welcome visitors, facilitating sign-in procedures

4. Direct visitors to appropriate departments or personnel

5. Handle incoming calls and emails professionally

6. Address visitor and client queries with accuracy and efficiency

7. Schedule and manage appointments and meeting room bookings

8. Liaise with various departments to ensure smooth communication

9. Gather and analyze customer feedback for service improvement

10. Assist in maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere

11. Support ad-hoc administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • – Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communication, Public Relations, or related field
  • – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • – Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • – Basic IT skills and knowledge (advantageous)
  • – Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities
  • – Keen attention to detail and organizational skills
  • – Positive attitude with eagerness to learn and adapt

Role Purpose

The Customer Experience Intern will play a key role in supporting client engagement initiatives, resolving inquiries, analyzing feedback, and assisting in process improvements that enhance overall client satisfaction. Main Responsibilities

Client Engagement and Support
  • Assist in responding to client queries regarding investment services, products, and accounts.
  • Support the execution of onboarding sessions, service quality surveys, and product updates.
  • Work with business development and portfolio management teams to ensure smooth client interactions.
Documentation and Feedback Management
  • Record client interactions in CRM platforms like Salesforce for future reference and audit use.
  • Help resolve client concerns and monitor suspense accounts under guidance.
  • Prepare engaging communication materials like newsletters and product manuals.
Process Improvement and Analysis
  • Analyze client feedback and extract actionable insights to enhance customer service.
  • Support the integration of digital tools that streamline workflows and improve customer engagement.
  • Assist in refining client servicing processes to boost operational efficiency.
Compliance and Governance
  • Ensure all client-facing activities comply with the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) regulations and the Data Protection Act.
  • Maintain updated records for auditing, reporting, and quality assurance.
