Departmental Coordinator – Information Technology (ZBTI)

Zetech Universit is hiring for the Departmental Coordinator – Information Technology (ZBTI) position in Kenya. This is a full time, mid level role. Qualification level: PhD. Applications close on 17 November 2026.

The position holder will primarily serve as a member of the teaching staff, with responsibility for coordinating Zetech Business & Technical Institute (ZBTI) and Zetech University (ZU) engineering programmes, including staff management and programme oversight.Directly reporting to the Dean- School of ICT, Media and Engineering

Duties and responsibilities

Key responsibilities

• Managing examination matters and presenting them at the respective school moderation and School Board meetings
• Managing students’ retention, eventual graduation and progression to other programmes.
• Managing end-to-end academic staff management activities at the campus for both schools.

Requirements

• Master's and Bachelor's Degree in IT or related areas from a recognised institution.
