Deputy Director – Finance and Accounts

Financial Reporting Centre (FRC) is hiring for the Deputy Director – Finance and Accounts position in Nairobi. This is a full time role. Qualification level: Masters. The Financial Reporting Centre (FRC) (Kenya's Financial Intelligence Unit) is established under section 21 of the Proceeds of Crime and Anti-Money Laundering Act, 2009. Academic – or any other relevant qualification from a recognized institution; (or any other relevant qualification from a recognized institution; )

Professional – Certified Public Accountant (K) or equivalent qualification from an accredited examination body; (Certified Public Accountant (K) or equivalent qualification from an accredited examination body; )

Key responsibilities

• Ensuring effective and efficient management of FRC’s resources including finances and other assets and liabilities;
• Ensuring the provision of meaningful, accurate and timely financial and management accounts and reports to the Secretary/Chief Executive Officer and the Board;
• Ensuring compliance with applicable legal and statutory requirements for financial, tax and other requirements and interpreting government accounting policy;

• Academic – Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Bachelor’s degree in Commerce)
