The World Bank is seeking a dynamic and organized Driver based in Nairobi, Kenya.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining office vehicles, ensuring safe transportation of staff, and timely delivery of documents.

Key responsibilities

• The successful candidate will work under the overall leadership of the Operations Manager, with day to day supervision from the Senior Administrative Officer.
• The selected candidate will be responsible for provision of proper maintenance of the office vehicles, safe delivery of staff to their respective destinations and timely delivery and collection of office documents as directed
• The Driver duties and accountabilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in English
• Minimum 5 years driving experience
• Valid driving license
• Knowledge of Nairobi roads
• Experience with international organizations
• Medical clearance for driving
• Training in defensive driving and first aid
• Demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively across teams, disciplines, cultures, and institutional boundaries.
• Bring experience working in fragile, conflict-affected, and violent (FCV) contexts and are encouraged to highlight relevant experience in their application materials, where applicable…
