Financial Controller – Old Mutual Holding

The role will provide leadership in financial governance, statutory and regulatory compliance, internal controls, treasury oversight, budgeting, financial planning and analysis, while safeguarding the Group's assets and supporting strategic business decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Reporting to the Group CFO, the Financial Controller will be responsible for leading the Group's financial control and reporting function, ensuring the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting across all entities.
• Lead the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for Management, Executive Committees, Boards and Shareholders.
• Oversee the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring the integrity of financial records, reconciliations and financial statements.

Requirements

• Business Insight – Applying knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization’s goals.
• At least 5 years’ experience in a leadership position.
• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Actuarial, Business or Commerce related field.
• A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
• Fully qualified CPA(K) or ACCA professional with up-to-date valid membership with ICPAK or ACCA…
