Project Manager

Craft Silicon is hiring for the Project Manager position in Nairobi. This is a full time role. Qualification level: Bachelors. Craft Silicon is a proudly Kenyan software house that provides software solutions for Core Banking, Micro Finance, Switching and Electronic Payments.

We serve more than 200 finance spanning across more than 30 countries across 4 continents.Key Responsibilities

Track milestones, deliverables, and performance against agreed objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements

Proven project management experience, preferably in software development, banking, or fintech.

Excellent leadership, organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage projects from initiation through completion.
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation measures.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective delivery.
• Manage client communication, stakeholder expectations, and project reporting.
• Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and quality standards.
• Facilitate project meetings, resolve implementation challenges, and document lessons learned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, frameworks, and tools.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and perform effectively under pressure.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or other relevant project management certification will be an added advantage.
