This full-time role, based in Nairobi, Kenya, offers a unique opportunity to lead commercial transformation and drive profitable growth in one of the region’s most dynamic FMCG environments. Job Summary

The Head of Revenue Growth Management will shape and execute a world-class revenue strategy by leveraging data, analytics, and commercial acumen. This individual will play a key role in balancing volume and price/mix to deliver value for Kenya Breweries, its customers, and consumers. The role will also embed revenue management principles across the business and spearhead transformation in go-to-market planning.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables

Strategic Planning and Commercial Execution

  • Lead the development and implementation of KBL’s revenue growth strategies aligned to commercial goals across all channels.
  • Develop integrated business plans to deliver objectives across multiple brands and product categories.
  • Shape long-term pricing strategies using Heuristic playbook models and drive effective trade promotions.
  • Guide the business using data science and technology to prioritize interventions and optimize the picture of success.

Analytics, Insights, and Risk Management

  • Use insights and analytics to drive pricing, promotion, and customer segmentation strategies.
  • Establish continuous tracking of the external environment to identify market risks and opportunities.
  • Analyze marketing and commercial data to deliver actionable recommendations for decision-makers.

Customer and Category Growth

  • Develop and execute customer-centric revenue plans to build market share and profitability.
  • Inspire strategic customers with compelling category visions and long-term partnership proposals.
  • Lead customer segmentation, investment allocation, and trade investment planning.

Collaboration and Leadership

  • Collaborate across functions to align planning and execution with strategic business goals.
  • Foster innovation and change by influencing senior stakeholders and championing data-led strategies.
  • Promote a culture of high performance, inclusion, and business agility.

Qualifications and Role Requirements

Academic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a quantitative discipline is required.

Preferred Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in strategy, planning, revenue management, or customer-facing roles.
  • Track record of managing P&L, driving commercial growth, and strategic decision-making.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.

Skills and Competencies

  • Exceptional commercial acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data.
  • Expertise in pricing, promotions, channel planning, and RTM strategies.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and drive alignment across teams.

Barriers to Success in Role

  • Inability to manage competing priorities and complex commercial landscapes.
  • Failure to build cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder alignment.
  • Lack of data fluency or inability to translate insights into execution.
