About the Role

Globeleq, a leading independent power producer in Africa, is seeking a dedicated HSESS Intern to join their team at Globeleq Menengai Geothermal Limited in Nakuru, Kenya. This 6-month internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in environmental, social, and safety management within the renewable energy sector.

Health Safety Environment Social and Security (HSESS) Intern Position Details

• – Duration: March 1st – August 31st, 2025
• – Location: Nakuru, Rongai Subcounty
• – Department: ESG
• – Reports to: ESG Officer and HSS Manager
• – Type: Full-time internship, Onsite
• – Application Deadline: January 31st, 2025

Required Qualifications

• – Recent graduate (within last two years) with a degree or diploma in:

1.   – Health and Safety
2.   – Community Development
3.   – Environmental Studies
4.   – Social Studies or related fields

• – Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
• – Proficiency in MS Office
• – Valid police clearance certificate
