UNOPS BSSC is a corporate delivery platform providing global cost-effective transactional services. The centre focuses on enhancing compliance, operational capacity, and efficiency while standardizing HR procedures across the organization.

Position Overview: HR Associate – Recruitment Support Services

UNOPS seeks a qualified HR Associate to support global recruitment initiatives from their Nairobi office. This role combines human resources expertise with recruitment coordination while working closely with the Bangkok Shared Service Centre.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment Support

  • – Manage end-to-end recruitment processes
  • – Create and publish vacancy announcements
  • – Conduct preliminary candidate screenings
  • – Administer written tests and conduct plagiarism checks
  • – Coordinate interview schedules
  • – Perform reference checks
  • – Prepare selection documentation and offer letters

HR Administration Roles

  • – Review hiring documentation for compliance
  • – Create ICA awards in UNOPS ERP system
  • – Support submission reviews for various panels
  • – Maintain recruitment dashboards and KPIs
  • – Guide clients through recruitment processes

Knowledge Management

  • – Contribute to HR policy development
  • – Support training initiatives
  • – Share best practices in recruitment
  • – Assist with process improvement projects

Required Qualifications

  • – Secondary education required
  • – Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred (with 2 years experience)
  • – Minimum 6 years experience in international HR/recruitment
  • – Strong computer skills and experience with web-based management systems
  • – Fluent English required, French highly desirable
  • – Flexibility to work across different time zones
