Job Description

The Junior Angular Developer will be responsible for implementing robust and scalable front-end applications using modern frameworks and best practices. The successful candidate will focus on developing responsive user interfaces for both desktop and mobile platforms, ensuring top-notch performance and usability. This role is suited for individuals who enjoy working in agile teams and are committed to continuous improvement in both personal and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver high-quality, fully functional Angular front-end applications.
  • Collaborate with back-end developers to design and integrate RESTful APIs.
  • Create self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components.
  • Ensure optimal performance and responsiveness of applications across devices and platforms.
  • Participate actively in agile development cycles, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily standups.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers and QA, to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Follow industry best practices in frontend architecture and maintainable code organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience developing applications using Angular (v8 or higher).
  • Strong command of HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Solid understanding of JavaScript fundamentals, including DOM manipulation and async operations.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and Angular component-based architecture.
  • Experience with REST API integration using Axios, SuperAgent, or similar libraries.
  • Familiarity with at least one CSS framework such as Bootstrap, Materialize, or Semantic UI.
  • Understanding of CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
  • Basic familiarity with Linux command line and Bash scripting.
  • Working knowledge of frontend coding standards, version control (e.g., Git), and style guides like Airbnb.
  • Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with end-to-end testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Puppeteer.
  • Exposure to agile project management tools like Jira or Trello.
  • Understanding of frontend security best practices.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or technical blogs (GitHub, Stack Overflow, etc.)
