The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is hiring for a MEAL Assistant position for their Re-Build program in Nairobi, Kenya. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to humanitarian efforts and make a lasting impact on the lives of urban refugees and vulnerable host residents.

Program Background:
The Re:Build program, developed in partnership with the IKEA Foundation, aims to achieve economic self-reliance for urban refugees and vulnerable host residents. The program focuses on strengthening urban economic, regulatory, and social environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- – Collaborate on routine data collection
- – Support field organization of surveys and feedback systems
- – Maintain project indicator dashboards and databases
- – Participate in data verification and quality assurance
- – Supervise project progress using standardized tools
- – Assist in compiling reports with accurate, timely data
- – Develop monitoring and evaluation tools
- – Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- – Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, community development, project management, or related field
- – 2+ years of relevant experience
- – Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- – Basic understanding of data collection tools and mobile systems
- – Excellent communication skills
- – Team player with ability to follow M&E team lead guidance
- – Proficiency in technology, especially mobile devices and data collection apps
- – Prior experience in data collection or surveys (preferred)
