Multimedia Editor Intern

Kenya Red Cross Society is hiring for the Multimedia Editor Intern position in Nairobi. This is an internship, entry level role. Qualification level: Bachelors. Kenya Red Cross is one of the many International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement societies around the world.

The Kenya organisation was established in 1965, The Kenya Red Cross supports and runs a number of projects whilst raising awareness to the Kenyan public about the current issues or problems which may affect them.We are offering an internship opportunity for a creative Multimedia Editor Intern to support filming and post-production of audiovisual content for training, storytelling, and digital platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Capture high-quality footage for training, features, and digital content.
• Edit raw footage into engaging and polished video stories.
• Support post-production workflows, including color grading, sound syncing, and captioning.
• Help organize and archive digital content.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Media, Communication, Film, or a related field.
• Proficiency in editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut).
• Basic filming skills including camera operation and lighting.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Availability for 2 months on full-time internship.
