Engineering Jobs, AGL Jobs. Responsible for inspecting vehicles or equipment before delivery, completing pre-delivery checks, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Requires a Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical, Automotive, or related technical studies, with at least 2 years of relevant workshop or maintenance experience. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Nairobi

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect all units as per the checklist before delivery to the Client.
• Carry out receiving inspection of motor vehicles and report any defect/damages/missing items immediately
• Inspect motor vehicles as per the pre-delivery inspection SOP
• Report any defect/damages as per the PDI standards.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and servicing of the motor vehicles as per manuals.
• Install parts & accessories as per specification.
• Perform road tests for inspected vehicles as per SOP.
• Complete PDI inspection sheets/reports and submit as per file management SOP.
• Ensure no vehicle is released from PDI without 100% ok PDI
• Clean, repair and maintain workshop tools & equipment
• Update operational system (VITS/other)
• Any other role assigned by management from time to time.

Qualifications

• Diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent field
• 2 years’ experience
