Job Opportunities in M-KOPA – What You’ll Be Doing
As a Sales Executive at M-KOPA, you will lead the frontlines of sales operations in your region. This role combines team leadership, sales execution, customer relationship building, and performance analysis to deliver on strategic targets and community growth.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of Direct Sales Representatives (DSRs)
- Foster a productive and motivating environment that drives field team performance
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and performance feedback regularly
- Implement strategies to ensure the team meets or exceeds individual and group targets
2. Sales Management
- Meet and exceed personal and team sales goals within assigned territories
- Design and deploy effective, localized sales strategies
- Identify sales growth opportunities and market penetration strategies
- Build a strong customer pipeline through field engagement and data-driven insights
3. Marketing and Performance Analysis
- Track and evaluate marketing campaign performance in the field
- Refine sales pitches and outreach tactics based on real-time data
- Report insights to inform product and service improvement strategies
- Ensure sales activities are aligned with company goals and compliance standards
4. Inventory and Compliance
- Oversee inventory allocation and usage by your team
- Ensure field operations comply with M-KOPA’s internal policies and standards
- Support internal audits and act on recommended improvements promptly

Professional Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales – preferably in FinTech, Microfinance, FMCG, or Telecoms
- Proven ability to build, motivate, and manage sales teams in the field
- Experience exceeding performance targets and KPIs
- Strong understanding of local markets and community dynamics
Technical and Soft Skills
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Analytical mindset with comfort in using sales data and CRM tools
- Leadership presence and high emotional intelligence
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced and evolving environment
- Clear, confident communication and stakeholder engagement skills
