Sales Lead

Role Summary

The Assistance Accountant supports and facilitates day-to-day financial operations, factory inventory control, and general ledger accounting jointly with the Finance Manager within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This hands-on role is responsible for accurate bookkeeping, raw material and finished goods reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, KRA statutory compliance (ETIMS/VAT), and daily stock reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Daily Bookkeeping & Accounts Payable/Receivable

Accurately record daily transactions (sales, purchases, operational expenses, bank, and petty cash) into the accounting/ERP system.
Verify Goods Received Notes (GRNs) against Purchase Orders (LPOs) and supplier invoices; reconcile monthly supplier statements and prepare payment vouchers.
Assist with customer invoicing, payment allocations, debtor reconciliations, and routine payment follow-ups.
Factory Stock & Inventory Control

Update system records daily for raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods to maintain accurate stock ledgers.
Conduct daily physical stock reconciliations against production records; participate in monthly physical inventory counts and investigate variances.
Work closely with the production team to monitor Work-In-Progress (WIP), track production wastage, and assist in compiling SKU product cost sheets.
Cash Management and Bank Reconciliations
