HFC Limited, the banking and property finance subsidiary of HF Group, is currently seeking to hire a qualified Home Loan Specialist to join their Mortgage Business Department. This opportunity is ideal for a dynamic, results-driven, and customer-focused individual with a solid background in finance or banking. The role supports the Group’s strategic growth in the Save & Invest, Borrow, Insure, and Own a Home pillars—especially in property financing solutions like Home Loans, Fixed Term Deposits, and Call Accounts.

About the Role

As a Home Loan Specialist, the successful candidate will be responsible for helping clients access the most suitable mortgage products to finance their dream homes or properties. They will serve as a key contact between HFC and potential or existing clients, guiding them through the entire mortgage loan process—from initial consultation to disbursement.

Main Responsibilities

Mortgage Business Development

• Offer tailored home loan solutions by evaluating customers’ financial positions and advising them on available options like Property Financing, Asset Finance, or Equity Release.
• Drive acquisition campaigns for Nyumba Yangu Savings Account holders and other potential homeowners by promoting our competitive mortgage plans.
• Review and verify client documents and applications to assess mortgage eligibility.
• Assist customers with loan applications while ensuring compliance with relevant policies and confidentiality standards.
• Manage the onboarding process and maintain ongoing communication with clients regarding application status and required documentation.

Customer Relationship & Marketing

• Actively participate in branch and country-wide marketing campaigns that support Save & Invest and Own a Home goals.
• Build and maintain a solid network of real estate agents, developers, and business partners to create a strong referral pipeline.
• Attend property expos and promotional events to generate new leads for Housing Development Bonds and mortgage products.
• Respond to and resolve customer queries or complaints in a timely and professional manner.

Operational Excellence

• Generate and present weekly, monthly, and annual sales performance reports.
• Ensure operational compliance with HFC’s policies, audit standards, and financial reporting practices.
• Proactively inform clients about updates related to interest rates, terms, and available account options including Current Account, Kilele Current Account, and Target Savings.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage lending, sales, or financial advisory services.

Technical Competencies

• Experience in mortgage or personal lending, particularly involving Biashara Current Account or Cross Over Fanaka Savings Account.
• Sound understanding of SME Loans, Overdrafts, and Corporate Bank Account structures.
• Basic credit risk assessment and financial reporting skills.
• Knowledge of various HFC offerings under Move Money & Trade such as Foreign Exchange Solutions and Money Transfer Solutions.
