Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) is hiring for the Information Communication Technology Assistant I position in Nairobi. This is a full time, entry level role. Qualification level: Bachelors; experience: 5 – 9 yrs. Minimum Requirements And Competencies Applications close on 30 November 2026.
Strong understanding of MySQL and MongoDB database design and management
Familiarity with API development and integration
Familiarity with relational databases and SQL queries.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
A portfolio of personal projects or previous work experience is highly desirable.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience
- Proven experience in software development, with a strong understanding of software development life cycle.
- Proven experience with PHP Laravel, C#, React, and Next.js
- Experience with version control tools like Git
- Experience with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks) is a plus.
- Knowledge of software testing and debugging techniques.
