Information Communication Technology Officer III

Meru National Polytechnic is hiring for the Information Communication Technology Officer III position in Meru. This is a full time, mid level role. Qualification level: Bachelors. HISTORY OF MERU NATIONAL POLYTECHNIC (MNP). Applications close on 17 November 2026.

The Meru National Polytechnic (MNP) is located in Meru County along Meru-Nanyuki highway, about 10 km from Meru Town and less than 5 km from Makutano Centre.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of end user workstation.
• Ensure network security through deployment and maintenance of firewall, cryptography system to help prevent hackers, viruses and other malicious software.
• Develop and deploy methodologies for testing network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports.
• Conduct testing and development of disaster recovery plans to detect faults, minimize malfunctions and back-up systems as it relates to network functionality.
