Pharmacist

ProRecruit Versaatech is hiring for the Pharmacist position in Thika. This is a full time role. Qualification level: Bachelors; experience: 0 – 4 yrs.

Key responsibilities

• To ensure safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of medicines, provide pharmaceutical care, and support safe medication use in line with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
• Review and dispense prescriptions accurately.
• Provide patient counselling on proper medication use.
• Ensure safe storage, handling, and management of medicines.
• Maintain proper inventory control and monitor stock levels/expiry.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and hospital policies.
• Support doctors and nurses with drug information and advice.
• Maintain accurate dispensing and pharmacy records.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.
• Registered with Pharmacy and Poisons Board with a valid practicing license.
• 3+ years’ experience in hospital/clinical pharmacy preferred.
• Knowledge of medicines and drug interactions.
